1 person was killed in Shooting Incident

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur  - One person was killed by unidentified person in Shooting incident transpired at Purok 2, Brgy Pelocuban, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 8:40 PM of May 29, 2019.

Police Brigadier General Froilan F Quidilla, PRO9 Acting Regional Director identified the victim as Rico Urot Lipalam, 40 years old, Male, Married, Utility worker at Tambulig Municipal Hall and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. Pelocuban, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

He was shot by unidentified suspect with the used of undetermined caliber of firearm.

After the incident victim was rushed to Blancia Hospital, Molave for medical attention but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Investigation conducted revealed that the victim was sitting alone at the terrace in his mother’s house while drinking coffee therein, when suddenly an unidentified person/suspect came and shot the victim for several times and immediately fled towards the upper portion of said upland Barangay.

The victim sustained Three (3) gunshot wounds on his face and one (1) on the left portion of his back which resulted to his instantaneous death.

Tambulig Municipal Police Station is still conducting thorough investigation for possible identification and arrest of suspect/s. Motive of the incident is believed to be personal grudge.

Rape Suspect Arrested

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 5, 2019) - Police Personnel of Mahayag Municipal Police Station and Tambulig Municipal Police Station conducted joint manhunt operation on Most Wanted Person at Purok 3, Brgy Tiparak, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:45 PM of February 04, 2019.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Roselito Aponi a.k.a Rosil, 34 Years old, married, jobless and a resident of Purok 3 Brgy, Salug Daku Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case # 2018-10-3592 issued by Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur for the crime of Rape with no bail bond recommended. 

Said wanted person temporarily detained at Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.

1 person died in Stabbing Incident

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - On February 01, 2019 at about 8:30 PM, One person was died in stabbing incident transpired Purok Cardava, Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the victim as Jundel Dadul Banquil, 32 years old, resident of Purok Cardava, Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was stabbed by Carlito Esconde Estender, legal age, farmer, a resident of the same barangay.

The victim sustained stabbed wound in his right chest and immediately brought to the nearest hospital but declared dead on arrival by the physician (Dr. Roy Macamay).

Suspect was arrested by the responding PNP elements of Tambulig MPS and now under custody of Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

2 Held for Illegal Quarrying

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga Del Sur (Feb. 4, 2019) - Personnel of Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) led by Mr. Jurist Jose Jr. M Abanil, Menro Officer of Tambulig Municipality, together with personnel of Tambulig MPS led by PCI Ycer Noah S Aniversario, Officer In-Charge, conducted police operation against illegal quarrying at Barangay Calolot and Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur on February 2, 2019 at about 9:00 AM.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director said that the operation was resulted to the arrest of the two suspects identified as:

Renan S Tamot, 27 years old, married, and resident of Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur and

Randy P Abraham, 29 years old, married, and resident of Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur who were caught in the act of illegally quarrying at said place and resulted also to the seizure/confiscation of extracted grit/sand.

The arrested persons together with the confiscated grit were turned-over to Tambulig MENRO for proper disposition of the case.

Wanted Person Arrested in Zamboanga Del Sur

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 18, 2019) - PNP Personnel of Tambulig Municipal Police Station conducted police operation on wanted person at about 2:00 PM of January 16, 2019 at Purok 1, Brgy Upper Liason, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the arrested man as Julio Mocoy ‘Aka’ Loloy, 35 years old, married, Farmer and a resident of Purok 1, Barangay Upper liason, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The suspect was by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts of lasciviousness under criminal case number no. 2018-10-3615 dated December 28, 2019 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur with recommended bail bond of Eighty thousand pesos (Php 80, 000.00).

The arrested subject person is now under the custody of Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

1 person was wounded in Stabbing Incident

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Jan. 5,2019) – One person was wounded inStabbing incident transpired at Public Market, Poblacion, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 6:30 PM of January 4, 2019.

The victim was identified as Johnny Berdaga Corales, 38 years old, male, married, farmer and resident of Purok 4, Barangay Sta Cruz, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur, while suspect was identified as Roldan Ramirez Y Malhin “a.k.a.” Dandan, resident of P-5, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

Initial investigation disclosed that victim was stabbed by the above-mentioned suspect using hunting knife and sustained three (3) stabbed wounds on his body and was rushed to Happy Valley Community Hospital, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur and subsequently transferred to MHARS General Hospital in Ozamiz City for further medical treatment.

The suspect fled towards Barangay Limamaan, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.
