Suicide Incident

TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 10, 2018) - Suicide incident transpired at Brgy Balugo, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:00 AM of November 9, 2018.

Upon receipt of said report, PNP element of Tambulig MPS immediately proceeded to the aforesaid place to verify veracity of the report.

Investigation conducted revealed that the victim identified as Danilo Hermoso y Albarasin, 57 years old, married, farmer by occupation and a resident of Purok-7, Brgy Balugo, Tambulig, committed suicide by hanging himself with the use of rope.

The incident transpired inside their nipa hut where the victim used to sleep alone by himself.

In addition, the victim’s wife identified as Mrs. Sabena L. Hermoso revealed that before the incident her husband already committed several attempts of suicide.

Rape Suspect Arrested in Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur



TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 30, 2018) - Joint PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS, Zamboanga del Sur and Lala MPS, Lala, Lanao del Norte arrested rape suspect during the conduct of police operation on Most Wanted Person Top Number 8 (Lala MPS) at Barangay New Village,Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 2:30pm October 29, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested as Tandos Logan y Hase, 67 years old, married, farmer, a resident of P-6, Barangay Sta. Cruz, Lower, Lala, Lanao del Norte.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for crime of Rape, with criminal case number 21-3866 issued by Hon. Alberto P Quinto, Presiding Judge, RTC of 12th Judicial Region, Branch 21, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte issued on November 29, 2017 with no bail bond recommended.

The arrested subject person is now under custody of Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

1 woman killed in Shooting Incident


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. t29, 2018) – A woman was killed in Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur at about 7:45pm of September 26, 2018.

 The victim identified as one Nellie Paso y Romo aka Dodo, 45 years old, female, married, Business woman and a resident of Barangay Lilo-an, Bonifacio, Missamis Occidental shot by two unidentified suspects who were onboard single MC XRM color red with unknown plate number.    

Investigation disclosed that prior the incident, the victim is driving her service vehicle coming from Brgy.Lilo-an, Bonifacio, Missamis, Occidental and travelling towards Tambulig, purposely to attend the mid-week mass at the Seventh Day Adventist Church situated at Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig.

Upon reaching the aforementioned Church and while the victim disembarked her service vehicle together with her two house helper identified as Nielton Hemoros cagas and Ma. Verlma P. Cagas and walking towards entrance gate of the church, suddenly the victim was shot three times by two unidentified perpetrators onboard single MC XRM color red with unknown plate number.

The Victim was brought to Salug Valley Community Hospital, Happy Valley, Tambulig for medical treatment but few minutes later was pronounced dead by the attending physician.

Said victim sustained one Gunshot wound at the left portion of her nape that caused her premature death as declared at about 8:00pm September 26, 2018.

After the incident, suspects fled to the direction of Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur boarded said single MC.

Recovered from the crime scene three pieces fired cartridge case believed to be from Cal. 45 pistol. Possible motive of incident is soon to be determined.

Thorough investigation and intelligence monitoring is still conducted by the said police station for possible identification and arrest of the perpetrators. Sketch and Photograph in the crime scene were taken for future reference. PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS conducted hot pursuit operation going to Molave for possible arrest of the assailants. Hot Pursuit Operation of Zamboanga Del Sur Police In connection with the Shooting Incident @ Tambulig



TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur - On September 27, 2018at about 5:10 PM, joint hot pursuit operation was conducted by PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS, Provincial Intelligence Branch, ZamboangaSibugayPPO and Bonifacio MPS, MissamisOccidental in coordination with Ramon Magsaysay MPSin connection with the shooting incident that transpired at about 7:18 PM of September 26, 2018 at P2, Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur, particularly in front of the Seventh Day Adventist Church wherein victim was identified as one Nellie Romo y Paso, 45 y/o, female, married, businesswoman, a resident of Lilo-an, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental and temporarily residing at Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspect of the said incident was positively identified by the witnesses thru the retrieval of CCTV footage from Coco Lumber owned by Bodiongan Familylocated at the above mentioned place and thru the information given by the confidential informant of the operating team as George Paglinawan y Perez (who was later known with his other personal circumstances) 39 years old, male, married, jobless, w/ residence at Brgy. Kapamanok, San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur (formerly residing at Campo 5, R.M., Zamboanga del Sur, with other known address at Brgy. Dupol, Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental).

Investigation further disclosed that during the conduct of hot pursuit operation, suspect was seen at Purok 1-B, Brgy. Switch, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga Del Sur. However, when the operating team approached the suspect for his possible arrest, suspect then drew his handgun from his right waist and fired towards the operating team which prompted one of the PNP personnel to returned fire hitting the back portion of his body which resulted his death. Suspect is now lying in Valley of Angels Funeral Homes, Molave, ZamboangaDel Sur.

Recovered from the crime scene that was processed by the PNP personnel from Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Abelon, Pagadian City were as follows; one (1) empty cartridge case of cal. 45, one (1) empty cartridge case of cal. 5.56 m16 rifle, alleged caliber 45 pistol w/ chamber inserted with magazine loaded with six (6) live ammunitions found beside the suspect. On the other hand, recovered from the actual possession of the suspect were thirteen (13) live ammunitions of cal. 45 wrapped in a white sock, two (2) extra magazine of cal. 45 loaded with seven (7) live ammunitions each, personal belongings that includes wallet and identification cards, sunglass, one (1) unit cellular phone with brand name QNET (pictures attached P2).

In addition thereto, the aforementioned cellular phone together with one unit Honda single motorcycle with color combination black, red and white with Chassis No. KWM 0000437, and Engine No. KWM00E000408, without Plate Number that was used by the suspect was brought to Tambulig MPS for further verification.

Man Arrested for the crime of Grave Threats


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 16, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS conducted police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 12:05 PM of September 13, 2018 at Purok Jakarta, Brgy Alang-alang, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of one Albert Arado Y Lagunay 49 years old, married, resident of Purok Jakarta, Brgy Alang-alang Tambulig,, Zamboanga del Sur. 

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Grave Threats with Criminal Case number 3126 issued by Hon. Carol M. Morales, Presiding Judge of 1st Municipal Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur dated September 13, 2018 with a bail bond recommended  of  Twelve Thousand Pesos(Php12,000.00) for his temporary liberty.

The subject arrested person is now under the custody of Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

Police arrested Murder Suspect

TAMBULIG, Zaamboanga del Sur (Aug.23, 2018) - The Police operatives of Tambulig MPS arrested murder suspect during the conduct of police operation on wanted person (service of arrest warrant) at about 10:30am of August 20, 2018 at Purok 2, Brgy Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operating police identified the arrested wanted person as Niel Bucag Y Panaguitom, 45 years old, married, Security Guard and residence of Purok 2, Brgy San Roque, Southern Leyte.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder docketed under criminal case with cc# 2007-10-1932, cc# 2008-10-2082 and cc# 2008-10-2083 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, dated July 07, 2016 with no Bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty. The accused is now temporary detained at Tambulig MPS for proper disposition.

1 dead in Vehicular Traffic Accident

TAMBULIG, Zamboanmga del Sur (Aug.14, 10`8) – One dead in Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired along the National highway of Purok 5, Brgy. Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of August 12, 2018.

The accident was involving one Toyota Vios color gray, bearing plate No. YDE836, driven by Stephen Neil Sañol y Benito, 49 years old, Branch manager of Philippine Publishing House, married a resident at Purok 4, Barangay Bagong Tago, Balencia City, Bukidnon, accidentally bumped/hit a pedestrian identified as Jhon Cuajotor y Sacay, 15 years old, Grade 9 student of Tambulig National High school, and a resident of above-mentioned place.

Initial investigation conducted by the responding PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS disclosed that said Toyota Vios was traversing the road from Molave, Zambonga del Sur. Upon reaching at the aforementioned place of incident the victim suddenly ran/across the said highway that resulted to bumped/hit the victim and later bumped into a single motorcycle parked beside the road shoulder.

The victim was then rushed to Macamay Hospital of Happy Valley, Tambulig and later he was pronounced dead by the attending physician.

The Driver of the said Toyota Vios is now under the custody of Tambulig MPS and temporarily detained while necessary documents are being prepared for inquest filing.  Investigator on-case PO2 Crisanto Montegrejo Darunday with CP No. 09104735946

RA 7610 Violator Arrested in Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur




TAMBULIG, Zamboangaa del Sur (July 26, 2018) – The PNP elements of Tambulig MPS led by its Chief of Police, Police Senior Inspector Augustus A. Rosendo conducted manhunt operation against Wanted Person at Purok 3, Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30am of July 23, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of one Hansil Malicay Y Pagalan, 41 years old, Single, Solar Panel Installer and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Lower Lodiong, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest with criminal case number 2004-10-1441 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, for Violation of Section 10, Article VI of RA 7610. The case has bail bond recommended amounting to eighty thousand pesos (Php80, 000.00) for his temporary liberty dated January 18, 2006.

Rape Suspect Cuffed in Tambulig


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 26, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Tambulig Municipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the rape suspect during the conduct of police operation on wanted person (Service of Arrest Warrant) at about 10:30am of July 21, 2018 at Purok Bombel, Barangay Sumalig in Tambulig municipality of Zamboanga Del Sur province.

Police identified the arrested wanted person as Lupercio Mamawe Bucar Jr. 27 years old, single, fisherman and a resident of Purok Bombel, Brgy Sumailig, Tambulig of this province.

The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Rape with Criminal Case number 2018-10-3553 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur dated July 18, 2018.

Human Trafficker Arrested


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (July 12, 2018) - Combined elements from PNP-WCPC- MFU, Tambulig MPS and Zamboanga City Police Station 4 conducted a manhunt operation against wanted person at Barangay Tungawan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur about 9:00 AM of July 10, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Rowena Omaque Sanchez, 29 years old of Kauswagan, Cagayan De Oro City.

She was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest under criminal case no 38795 and 38796 for Human Trafficking dated June 21, 2018 issued by Hon. Shaldilyn B Bangsaja presiding Judge 9th Judicial region Branch 33, Zamboanga City.

Subject person is presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Office detention cell prior turn-over to court concerned.

Teacher Arrested in Tambulig


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 19, 2018) - A teacher was arrested by operatives of Tambulig Municipal Police Station (MPS) in a police operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) at Purok 3, Barangay Happy Valley, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of June 18, 2018.

Tambulig MPS identified the accused as Marlita Caralos Apa, 59 years old, married, teacher, and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Cabgan, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

She was arrested by virtue of two Warrant of Arrest:
1). For Violation of Section 77 of PD 705 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur. The case docketed under Criminal Case No. 2018-10-3493 dated 27 April 2018 with bail bond recommended of forty thousand pesos (PHP 40,000.00).
2).for violation of Malicious Mischief docketed under Criminal Case Number 3119, dated 11 June 2018, issued by Hon. Carol M Morales, Presiding Judge of 1st MTC, 9th Judicial Region of Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur with bail bond recommended of Two Thousand Pesos (PHP 2, 000.00) for her temporary liberty.

She is now temporary detained at Tambulig MPS detention cell awaiting court disposition.

Robbery Incident and Arrest of Suspect in Tambulig


TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 15, 2018) – Tambulig Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the suspect of robbery on June 12, 2018 at about 2:00 PM in Calolot Mountain Resort situated at Purok 2, Barangay Calolot in Tambulig municipality, of this province.  

A certain Teresito Espinosa Siete Jr. reported to Tambulig MPS informing that his Three (3) unit Cell Phone (2 unit-OPPO 837 and 1 unit-ZH&K) was allegedly lost/missing inside his bag while being placed at their rented cottage inside Calolot Mountain Resort situated at Purok 2, Barangay Calolot, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur.

The PNP Operatives of Tambulig MPS immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to conduct ocular inspection and investigation.

That while the Investigator-On-Case SPO1 Onyx Neri Dela Cruz Jr. is on the process of conducting thorough investigation and also the owner Teresito Espinosa Siete Jr. exerted utmost effort to have a contact on his lost/missing cellular phone by dialing his numbers several times using the cellular phone of his cousin. Fortunately, the unidentified suspect answered the call and then demanded a money amounting Two Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P2,500.00) in exchange of the above-mentioned cellular phones.

PNP personnel of Tambulig MPS conducted an entrapment operation at Barangay Dipolo in the municipality of Molave of this province where the suspect gave the venue. At about 5:20pm of same day, the suspect was arrested. The suspect identified as Leonardo Goc-Ong Palacio, 29 years old, with live-in partner and a resident of Barangay Dipolo, Molave.

The police operatives recovered from the position and control of the suspect were the following: a) Three (3) unit Cellular Phone (2 unit-OPPO 837 and 1 unit-ZH&K); and b) 2,000.00 peso bill registered as entrapment money bearing serial numbers-TS037295 and SK502874).

Arrested suspect is temporary detained at Tambulig MPS detention cell while an appropriate charges against him is now being prepared for filing in court. (By JONG CADION)

Top Number 3 Most Wanted Person Nabbed in Tambulig



TAMBULIG, Zamboanga del Sur (June 5, 2018) – PNP elements of Tambulig Municipal Police Station together with Provincial Intelligence Branch, Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office conducted Joint manhunt operation against Most Wanted Person at Purok 7, Barangay Gabunon, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:30 AM of June 05, 2018.

The operation was successful and resulted in the arrest of Rosil Salunoy Camporedondo, 28 years old, married, Farmer and a resident of Purok Caimito, Barangay Tuluan, Tambulig.

Subject person was Top number 3 Most Wanted Person Municipal level. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest with criminal case number 2016-10-3159 issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspect was accused for the crime of Robbery With Bail Bond recommended amounting to eight thousand pesos (Php 80, 000.00) for his temporary liberty.

Arrested accused is now temporary detained at Tambulig MPS locked-up cell while waiting the commitment order from the issuing court for proper disposition.

Arrest of Wanted Person in Tambulig


On or about 5:00 PM, May 6, 2018, Elements of Tambulig MPS and Phil. Army conducted joint manhunt operation at Purok 5, Barangay Sumalig, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operating troops arrested the suspect identified as Vienvenido Saramosing Tahoy, 42 years old, married, Chainsaw operator and a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Sumalig, Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Jaime B. Caberte, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 23, Molave, Zamboanga Del Sur dated April 27, 2018 with criminal case number 2018-10-3493 for Violation of Section 77 of PD 705 with Bail Bond recommended amounting to forty thousand pesos (Php 40, 000.00) for his temporary liberty.
